2026 GA Safety Conference - Call for Presenters

The 31st Annual Georgia Safety, Health and Environmental Conference will be September 9-11, 2026 at the Savannah Marriot Riverfront.  
Please make sure you have these dates open before submitting your proposal. We are seeking presentations on timely topics addressing the following subject areas:     •	Safety / Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) / Construction     •	Human Resources / Workers Comp / Legal Issues     •	Industrial Hygiene (IH) / Environmental / Health & Wellness     •	Technology     •	Safety Culture & Leadership
Proposal and Policy GuidelinesThe Conference Board invites those interested in presenting at its 2026 Safety, Health and Environmental Conference to submit a proposal for review by our Conference Planning Committee. Speaker proposals are evaluated objectively with consideration of the following criteria:     •	Degree to which the proposed session meets the conference/program objectives     •	Speaker's presentation skills and experience     •	Desirability of the topic
Proposals to present must contain and convey sufficient detail to allow the Conference Planning Committee to understand how the proposed session will contribute to the conference objectives. Selection is competitive, so you must submit a compelling and complete proposal.

Step #2 Presentation Information: Title – 60-character limit, including spaces Remember that potential attendees will usually glance at your title, name, and the Brochure Description. Use descriptive yet concise language, use your marketing skills!

Step #4: Presentation Description – Describe your presentation and specify expected learning outcomes for attendees. Maximum length is 600 words. We suggest writing this first, you can use the content to develop the other shorter parts of the proposal in the next steps. Length of Presentation - Presentations are 1 hour, including 15 minutes for questions.

Step #5: Learning Outcomes – 1 to 3, 30-word max each Just like designing training, use action verbs like identify, describe, define, understand, and demonstrate.

Step #6: Biographical Information: 600 words max Describe the speaker(s)’s qualifications that relate to the topic. Please include: name, education, Current position, certifications, designations, contact information (work phone number and e-mail) for three references , and noteworthy articles and publications from the past 3 years (up to 5 items).

Proposal AcceptanceNotification of acceptance will be emailed no later than March 2022.
HonorariaIndividual speakers receive a full complimentary conference registration. 
Group/panel presenters receive a complimentary registration for the day on which they speak and a reduced rate for the balance of the conference. 
Travel, lodging, and meal expenses are the responsibility of the speaker.
***Each primary session speakers receive one free registration; additional session speakers may receive a discount rate.
