Kids' Chance Charity Auction
The Georgia Safety, Health and Environmental Conference is committed to assisting Georgia’s working community provide safe, healthy work environments. An effective safety, health and environmental program is focused on preventing incidents, but when a serious incident occurs, the lives of workers and their families can be forever changed.
Kids’ Chance of Georgia, Inc. assists the children of catastrophically or fatally injured workers by providing a chance for a college education. If a parent is unable to work or provide funding for a child’s education, many intelligent and gifted children may have to forego dreams of college or technical schools. Since Kids’ Chance began in 1988, they have awarded hundreds of scholarships to children of Georgia’s seriously injured workers.
The conference will be September 4-6, 2024 at the Savannah Marriott Riverfront in Savannah, Georgia and will conduct a silent auction with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Kids’ Chance during the event. Last year, we had one of our highest attended conferences ever and raised a record $42,623 for Kids’ Chance of Georgia. This was the most raised in one year since we started raising money for them in 2007. This puts the total raised at $224,354! With your help, this money has improved the lives of many children of Georgia’s injured or fatally wounded workers.
To do this, we still need your help! We need donated items, purchased, or produced by you or your company. Kids’ Chance will provide you (or your company) with the necessary tax-deductible information and paperwork. Please help us help the kids! Every donation can and does makes a difference for this life-changing cause!
